This is an old historic hotel in downtown Davenport, Iowa. The lobby, lobby, bar and guest rooms are beautifully appointed and feature a lot of local artists. Their rooftop bar offers spectacular views. |The bathroom is quite some thing. Beautiful! There is a television in the middle of the mirror. There is also one of those fancy toilets. |The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. |As I was exploring the hotel and various rooms on our floor, I was surprised to discover a dog wash station which provided shampoo and towels so that you could wash your dog. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and have never encountered such a nice amenity. If ever in Davenport, Iowa, we would stay here again and would recommend to others as well.

This hotel is a true gem. Comfort, great staff, and nice amenities. My visit began with a very early arrival due to an early flight. I knew I was well ahead of the check-in time but I had a full afternoon of remote work. Helene greeted me at the desk and apologized no room was ready. I knew I was early so no worries. I did ask if there might be a quiet spot where I could work for a few hours. I was quickly directed to a very private area on the first floor where I spent several hours in a bright and sunny space.||When I got to my room I found it loaded with great features. It was much larger than I expected. AC was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The best feature was likely the rooftop bar/restaurant. It opened each day at 4:00 with some drinks at 1/2 off. Luck was with me that both days of my visit were sunny and warm. What a treat to end the day with a cold beer, in the warm sun, and a fantastic view of the Mississippi River.||This is likely one of the best hotel experiences I have had in years ... many years. Parking was easy across the street for $12 but both days I was off site and did not return until after the on street 2 hour parking limit expired for the day. I was able to easily find on street parking at, or after 4:00, which resulted in free parking.||I left a review directly with the hotel and received a personal communication from the Front Office Manager. I highly recommend the Current Iowa.

Cams to davenport for a wedding, pick this hotel because I got a discount with my job website, Little did I know I made a wonderful choice. The hotel is in a great location to take walks, to walk to other bars n close to restaurants. The rooftop bar is great, the music is fun to dance to, the food is good, drinks not watered down n a Beautiful view with fire pits to keep u warm at night. Don't close on weekends til 1. The staff is friendly n helpful. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable. Love the heated toilet n the tv in mirror so u can get dressed n still watch your movie or show. I enjoyed my stay and if I visit Davenport again it's my go to hotel

I really like this open spaced hotel! Very comfortable to sleep in the beds! Although, the it took me about 25 min to find the hotel?. But besides that great everything! ? would come back!

Overall I thought it was over priced for such a small room. Plus it was way too hot to sleep, thermostat was locked where I couldn't drop the temp below 68F. Also beware of the bottle water trap, they'll charge you close to $7 a bottle. Won't be staying here ever again.

I've stayed a couple-dozen times at The Current. The property is nice, fairly well kept, interestingly appointed with art, and has good amenities. City Loafers (lobby restaurant) has a small but decent menu. The sour dough is baked on site, and is delicious! There are quite a few easily walkable restaurants nearby, too, though sometimes vagrants congregate not far from the hotel. Hotel parking (paid) is limited, but there's a (paid) garage about a block away. The rooftop bar has some great views and really good appetizers. Staff is pretty friendly. Some of the suites in the hotel are enormous, and include washer/dryer and full kitchen. This continues to be my favorite hotel in the QC area.

This hotel is TOP notch! I enjoyed the exquisite room and amazing roof top restaurant. The view was gorgeous and we enjoyed the sunset every evening. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel to all! The hotel was classy, fun and a blast to stay at! I will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

We stay here every time we come to Davenport for a night out. By far, my favorite hotel in the area. Rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating.
