The rooms were clean, well appointed. Pretty standard for the most part, aside from a larger than average, wall mounted samsung TV that I'm thinking was at least a 50-55in. Has a pool, never used it. Price was awesome as a discount was given since our stay was to be seen at the U of I hospital.

Could definitely use some upgrading especially in the bathroom area. The bathroom sink had some kind of odor to it that made brushing your teeth nearly unbearable. The drain was also extremely slow. A good location for the event I attended but probably won't be back.

BED BUGS!!!! Just drover 12hrs checked in everything was great. Then I went to get into bed and there was a red tick looking bug. I thought it was a tick. But it wasn’t moving like one. Sure enough it was bed bug! Left right away.

The staff were perfectly fine and courteous and for the most part the facilities were nice. The problem we had is that we are pretty sure that our room was not properly cleaned.

We believe that the extent of the cleaning was stripping the beds and new towels. The room smelled of Chinese food when we arrived, the lid to to toilet was completely removed, and the floor appeared to have not been vaccumed. The room was fine for our purpose of sleeping but I still would have preferred a clean room.

The hotel as a whole also had some maintenance problems but it was nothing major.

We stayed on the 2nd floor. It must have been a smoking floor at one time. I'm very sensitive to fragrances, and there was a STRONG smell of some kind of air freshener that gave me a headache.

We used the sofabed, and there was exposed metal that my kids kept getting hurt on.

I will say that everything appeared pretty clean. King bed was comfortable.

Excellent hotel at a very reasonable rate.
Staff was very pleasant and the breakfast held in the common area was reasonably robust.
The rooms are spacious, well appointed with what is nearly a kitchenette.
There's a pool and even a small workout room - everything you need!

The decor here is beautiful. The rooms are super clean and fresh. Breakfast is always hot with lots of fresh fruit. I can't say enough about the staff always excited to see you at check in. They have gone above and beyond to make their location welcoming and safe.
