So I’m a little weird and I’m going to tell you that I actually kind of like industrial areas. I thought the view outside of my hotel room was cool, but that’s just because I’m really into transmission towers. I don’t know anybody else that finds them as cool as I do, and no I do not think that’s a flex. Anyways, the hotel itself is pretty reasonable. It’s definitely showing its age and although the rooms aren’t dirty, they have that dirty feel because of how dated they’re getting. There are some stains but it’s a comfortable enough place to lay your head down and there are no cockroaches or bedbugs that I experienced. It’s definitely a good budget option. They also have continental breakfast and the staff there at least from my experience were wonderful.

I couldn't shower, place was dirty, false eyelash on the bed sheet when I pulled the bedspread up to get in bed. Bathroom walls in bad shape. People out in the halls at night making enough noise to wake us. Heard loud cars at night. Did not feel safe...people prop open back door at night. Was not a safe part of town. High price for what I received. Continental breakfast looked too terrible to eat. Only thing good was the person working at the desk. She was nice.

This choice hotel property is the absolute worst I have ever been to in some time now. If you’re just looking for somewhere to get some quick rest this place will do for sure. But I know I will never be back here to stay. No microwave, or mini fridge in the room I was in at all. No hot water in the room I was in at all. One last thing the hotel smells like someone died in it, along with the nasty wet dog smell in it. Never smells like anything is ever cleaned at the hotel. Stains all over the carpet throughout the hotel.

Day 1, toilet completely clogged and they bagged the smoke detector. Really bad water pressure in shower and a broken TV. On top of the toilet being clogged, there was no in-room plunger so we had to go to the front desk to ask for a plunger. A cabinet was missing from the room as well as the phone (Which I don’t know if any other rooms had either way) The actual hotel smelled less than optimal upon entry to certain halls.

This hotel room was booked a year in advance. We drove almost 12 hours from NC on 11/01 for the 11/03 Eras Tour. Upon arrival, we checked in, but as we entered the room, we noticed a disgusting odor that seemed to be the strongest in the bathroom. We notified the manager who was also dealing with another room complaint regarding cleanliness.
He offered us another room and said if we weren't satisfied, he would refund our money and we could leave the hotel. He asked us to keep in mind this was a "small budget" hotel. Unfortunately, we didn't have the option to leave because hotels in the area were booked solid for the entire weekend.
The second room didn't have an odor; however, it was absolutely filthy. The floors were sticky/dirty, there were large crumbs of food under the bathroom vanity, the switches/outlet cover plates were dirty throughout, the shower head was gunky, the tub was peeling and gross, the toilet was dirty, all surfaces were dusty and dirty, the Ptac was sealed with duct tape, there was something splattered on the curtains that resembled bird poop, baseboards were splattered with a red substance, the bathroom faucet was filthy, and I could keep going.
We ended up purchasing over $75 in cleaning supplies from Walmart to clean the room. This was after driving 12 hours.
I am a property manager and I understand that mistakes happen, but there wasn't an apology for any oversight because I don't believe it was an oversight. The front desk clerk did not seemed surprised at all when we reported the stench in the first room. He immediately offered us a different room along with an excuse, and it was unacceptable.
Small budget hotels are not exempt from cleaning the rooms. Quality Inn advertises their "commitment to clean". This is a joke. I will never stay at another Quality Inn. This location operates under Choice Hotels. Their customers deserve better, and if rooms had been available at another hotel, we would have left immediately.

This place is disgusting. No idea when the floors were last vacuumed. The overall feeling when first walking in was lack of cleanliness throughout. The first room they put us in reeked of smoke, so they moved us to another room. The room was equally dirty. Tub is disgusting, not clean. Toilet bowl is dirty. There's a hole in the bathroom door. I will not eat breakfast here. Free or not, I am not eating anything from a place this unclean. If I hadn't already paid for two nights in advance, I would go find another motel. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the gentleman behind the desk was very friendly.

I had my dad book room online & pay with his credit card & assumed everything was set but when I show up tired after long day of traveling with 3 kids who were already past out guy at front desk says I need a $100 deposit & it can’t be charged on card that was used online. So I was left stranded without a room because nobody was close by or able to help me with deposit. Never experienced not being able to use card we paid with. Guy was rude & happy to cancel our room. Customer behind me said I was 4th person he’s see have same problem.

The rooms were damp, after being out all day and coming back our clothes were damp, the carpets were soaking wet, there were water stains on the carpet in the hallway, the first room they had us in even had part of the ceiling in the shower missing, and water was putting out of the pipe above it. The diving bathroom had mold on the ceiling and walls, even in the main room. We got sick from our stay. If I could give no stars I would. The staff were nice though. No qualms with them, this place just needs a complete remodel or something. It’s pretty bad.
