I was so grateful to find Martha to remake part of my mom's wedding dress and alterations to my own dress. From trying on my mom's dress over a year before my wedding until my final fitting, she helped make our day so special. I was so unsure if any of my ideas would work, but she and her team were so dedicated that I knew I was in the best of hands and she made me feel so beautiful!

I can’t say enough good things about my experience using Martha! After a very bad experience with my wedding dress at a different seamstress , Martha was able to see me just a few weeks before my wedding and fix my dress. She spent so much time with me, looking over my dress and making sure it would be how I wanted it. I was just as happy when I returned to pick it up! I highly recommend using her!

My daughter and I needed alterations to the MOB dress and wedding dress. This was the absolute worst experience for myself and my daughter. Staff was not friendly at all. We had to come back several times because work was not done when we came for an appointment. There was never an apology or acknowledgement for the errors or inconvenience it caused. I was quoted on the alterations of my dress during my first fitting, which was a dress hem and slightly taking in. When I came for the second appt. The dress was hemmed but was not taken in. The dress was still all pinned down the whole back. I had to ask why there was still pins in the dress. The work was not done and I was charged more than the original quote to have it taken in. As for the wedding dress. We had to go for three extra appointments due to the work not being done. In the end the dress was hemmed incorrectly, uneven, and to short with only a few days before the wedding left due to the extra appointments. There was no willingness to work more on the dress or to provide a credit. In the end, I ended up fixing the alterations on my daughters dress. I would not recommend this business to anyone! It appears that the better reviews are all from years back and customer service has been declining. Beware!!!!

I brought an expensive MOB dress to be altered for my daughter’s wedding. It only needed to be hemmed and shoulder straps were to be shortened 1”. These alterations cost $190.55 which I was made to pay upfront. I was told the dress would be ready in 6 weeks. I showed up on the agreed date of pick up to be told nothing had been done yet. I was then told to come back in 4 days. When I showed up the 2nd time and tried it on and was severely disappointed at the obvious rush job. Instead of altering the shoulder straps properly, they were just folded over and tacked, leaving extra fabric in the shoulder which is. Because of the obvious rush job, there was an too much material causing the the sleeves to crease so she added a pleat in the shoulders that I did not ask for, and now the sleeves are too tight.

Martha was an absolute sweetheart and brought my vision of my bustle to life! She was so easy to work with, listened to what I wanted and I was so happy with the overall touches she made to my wedding gown! Highly recommend, she truly has the magic touch with gowns. The hem was PERFECT, and I had an unexpected stairwell entrance into my ceremony (was suppose to be outside)

I highly recommend Martha's Care Seamstress. My DIL to be had taken her gown to another seamstress who did a horrific job. When I went for my fitting on my mother of groom dress last Friday, I asked Martha for help. She was more than gracious in getting my DIL in that same day. She took an extraordinary amount of time with us later that afternoon. Not only was she able to fix the mess the other seamstress made, but she made additional recommendations to us on how to make this dress perfect. She was kind, understanding, and more than helpful. I cannot say enough about Martha and how much she meant to us, especially with the stressful situation we were in. I will be recommending her to everyone. I cannot fathom anyone coming here and having a bad experience. Thank you Martha... your kindness, professionalism, and knowledge meant so much to us. Thank you.

The quality of the work was to be expected. The person that did the measurements was kind and personable. The time frame to complete the hemming project was okay especially giving it was the end of prom season.

The price was much higher than I thought it would be. The web site indicated that formal wear was $75. So I thought that my dress would be about $75. It was $195!!!!!! Now, $45 of that was to bring up the shoulders which I didn't even realize needed to be done. But that means it was $150 to hem my dress that had 2 layers! Note, my dress was "flowy".

They don't accept checks just debit/credit cards and cash. What I didn't realize till I got my credit bill, they charged me to use my credit card! That was never explained to me, just charged! It wasn't even listed on my receipt!
So, summary, the work is fine, but be prepared to PAY A LOT!

I probably wont go back, I'll try to find someone else that charges less.

Martha did an amazing job on the alterations for my mother of the groom dress, my daughter-in-law’s bridal dress and the maid of honor’s dress. All three dresses looked amazing and we couldn’t have been happier!! Martha took the time to make sure I was comfortable in my dress. Martha was set back a bit with Covid and she still had our dresses ready on time. I would definitely use Sew It All again! Thank you Martha!!
