Dieses Hotel mit dem neuen Konzept "Home2 Suites by Hilton" ist absolut empfehlenswert! Moderne, clever eingerichtete Zimmer (mit Mikrowellenofen, Kühlschrank und Gefrierer - und einer super Dusche mit gutem Wasserdruck!), sehr freundliches Personal (!!!) und ein geniales kostenloses Frühstücksbuffet mit den unterschiedlichsten Angeboten für jeden Geschmack. Auch einen kleinen Snackshop, einen Innenpool und einen Fitnessraum gibt es. Draussen lädt eine Sitzgruppe mit "Fireplace" zum Relaxen ein. Überhaupt ist die Möblierung im Zimmer und in der Lobby sehr modern und praktisch - so gibt es im Zimmer einen Rolltisch, Hocker, einen Pultbereich, Nachttischchen mit USB-Aufladesteckdose und vieles mehr. Ich war schon in einigen Hotels in der Umgebung, dieses Hotel hat mich nun am meisten überzeugt, hier bleibt man gerne auch mehrere Tage. Übrigens: Ganz in der Nähe ist die riesige Woodfield-Mall - das Hotel liegt also ideal für Shopping-Interessierte...

Etwas außerhalb von Chicago. Trotzdem eine tolle Umgebung mit vielen Restaurants und einer fantastischen Mall. Sehr sauber. Sehr zuvorkommend. Vom Frühstück habe ich mir mehr versprochen, ist aber für amerikanische Verhältnisse recht gut.

In early September I chose not renew my lease in Lakeview, Illinois and I decided to live in hotel spaces until I decide if I want to remain here in Illinois or move to California. ||I've been to this cozy location twice within the past two months because the location is ideal especially if you don't own a car like me. This cute and cozy hotel is right next to Weber Grill, Starbucks, Outback Steakhouse and a shopping center with a Trader Joe's grocery store, a Petsmart, a Michael's craft store and not to mention you are a short drive from the Woodfield Mall and an AMC movie theater.||The rooms are perfect for a single traveler and all the dishes and silverware ? are laid out for you to enjoy a private meal in your room. The television ? has a great selection of cable movies ? to choose from and they provide you with top quality shower ? products for you to use during your stay including an emergency supply of contact solution if you forgot to bring yours.||I chose this hotel twice because my pets and I really loved it here. Each room has a huge window with plenty of natural sunlight ✨ and there's a comfortable outside seating area if you want to enjoy a cup of Joe with friends on their outside patio.||Now let's not forget to mention the incredibly kind and welcoming front desk staff ? and a huge thank you to Danielle who allowed me an early check in and a late check out to accommodate me. She's a very genuine and caring person ? who loves people-- a rare find in the Hospitality industry. She's patient and will help you with anything you need!||Now for the best part! I'm not a "breakfast" person but their breakfast is an array of gourmet omelets, a homemade waffle iron that helps you prepare buckwheat waffles ? from a pre-made mix, delicious soft serve yogurt with a variety of toppings like chocolate chips, dried raisins & cranberries, granola, almond slivers, coconut ? etc. And fresh juices like strawberry kiwi, apple & orange ? and bagels ? and breads ? you can toast yourself. You won't go hungry here and they even serve homemade cookies in certain days of the week in the afternoon. ||Most of the guests that choose this location are either business travelers, people who need to be in Schaumburg for medical treatments or vacationers. |This hotel ? is extremely pet friendly and you will see guests with their fur babies most of them trained and very well behaved. My cat ? and dog give a generous and enthusiastic five paws ? up for the staff, the delicious breakfasts and the cozy non fussy atmosphere.

I have a Hilton honor diamond status (which is realistically worth nothing). I was snowed in in West Michigan early this December and could not travel to attend my meetings in the Chicago area. It was too last minute to cancel my reservation in the Home2 Suites Schaumburg without a charge so I decided to call the hotel to speak with manager James D. about the possibility of changing my reservation to a day or two later, but he never bothered to call me back or somehow ask a member of the staff to explain to me what his decision was. Every time I called he was busy in a meeting. I left 2 voice messages and also left message with front desk. I ended up booking 2 nights on the same week at nearby hotel. Even though he didn't need a hotel, my husband used the reservation in this hotel room for the 2 nights given that I had to pay for the stay. My husband forgot an electronic toothbrush in the room, and he is also still waiting for the hotel to call him back about the lost&found.||Hilton Honors asked manager for a follow up on the issue but he never responded. When contacted directly by Hilton Honors manager James D explained (per report) that he talked to me over the phone twice about the issue ( a blatant misrepresentation of the truth, not to use the word "lie").||Bottom line: I understand hotel cancellation policies. But don't expect old fashioned courtesy or any courtesy, a call back or any accomodation when you are on a difficult situation from this place. Hilton is not what it used to be. The service is variable depending on the hotel brand. This situation resonated with my business associates so needless to say I, my employer and our business associates in the area will not send anyone to this hotel again, because we cannot control the weather so we find it best to control our hotel brands.

I frequently stay in Schaumburg for work travel. I love the Schaumburg area and like being able to meal prep in my room. The studio style rooms offer some comforts including a separate couch/living area. However the last trip i was charged a pet fee... i don't own a pet nor service animal so the $75 fee was a shock. I called and requested a call back and refund multiple times for over two weeks. I finally had to get Hilton involved. As a Gold Member they were happy to send a message to the hotel. Still this Home2 location fought it saying the needed to review the hallway video to ensure I wasn't lying. I was told I would hear from the manager within 48 hrs. Well, I did not hear from him personally, no apologies or any personal communication. I did however get the automated email thanking me for my stay with an invoice attached. I reviewed it and the pet fee with appropriate taxes were refunded. So the result was satisfactory but again the customer service was definitely lacking. Use caution when booking here. The desk staff do not engage in problem solving that takes effort and now I can see it is a leadership issue.

There were lots of dents and chipped paint throughout the room. Loose threads on the bed skirts and bedding. Lampshades had multiple stains and should be replaced. Couch had stains on the cushions and the pull out mattress. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. The staff was nice and the pool water was clean.
