Amy is a mind reader. Seriously. She had me do this exercise to figure out what my style was and what colors I liked and then she presented me a mock up of some potential colors for my brand. After a few minimal tweaks I was thrilled with the brand colors you see now on my website. Days after okaying the colors, I was putting laundry away when I noticed something. (I put my clothes away in rainbow order.) I noticed that my new brand colors made up the majority of the colors I ALREADY WEAR. And in nearly 10 years of working and branding myself it had never occurred to me to use those colors. It seems like such a “duh” moment right now, but at the time it was like an epiphany.

The entire time we worked together I had total faith and confidence in Amy. She would word things for me on my website that if I didn’t know better, I would have sworn I wrote it. Over and over again, throughout this entire process I just kept thinking. “Yes! Amy gets me, this is me!”

When I was doing this solo I could never even come close to nailing it the way Amy did. That’s the beauty of outsourcing and finding someone better at something than you to do the job for you. You get magic.
