Perfektes Hotel um in Vail Ski zufahren. Ski und Skischuhservice im Hotel. Skischuhe anziehen und 10 Meter bis zum Lift laufen und das großartige Skigebiet genießen.
Frühstück OK, nichts besonderes, Dinner schmeckt und an der Bar kann man einige Drinks/Biere genießen.
Einzig die Heizung/Klimaanlage in dem Zimmer hat genervt. Etwas laut und die ausstömende Luft war etwas unangenehm beim schlafen.
55 $ Parkgebühren pro Nacht ist etwa teuer.
Aber ich würde immer wieder das Hotel buchen, weil der Lift genau vor der Tür ist. Shuttelservice bis 22 Uhr nach Vail.

One of our favorite places to stay. The rooms are cozy, and I love the location. You can walk to Lions Head and to Vail Village on a nice day or you can take the shuttle if it’s cold. They have a couple of outdoor hot tubs, year round heated pool, multiple fire pits and a wonderful spa.

The standard rooms are clean and comfortable enough. Love sitting on the balcony in the morning with a hot cup of tea. The service has been wonderful. Housekeeping has brought everything I've needed quickly. The front desk has answered as many of my questions as they were able. The shuttle driver is very pleasant. The hotel was easy to find. It is huge making it challenging to navigate at times, but the staff help with that. There are a handful of food options on property, and many more close by via the shuttle.

Globalist, if you want the benefits of Globalist(mostly free upgrade), do not choose this property.

First, they do not honor globalist until you notice them by yourself.

When I checked in, even if I asked for an upgrade (and there was availability on the app even an hour after my check-in time), they said they are fully booked. I did not even ask for the suite upgrade. it's just a better view. I complained about this on chat. However, after 90 mins, what I got responded is only, "Please be informed we are sold out for tonight." I expected more than this when I paid $800 for a room per day.

Oh yes, of course, I did a video recording for showing the current time and which rooms are available on the app as lots of property do LIE about this too much. But they did not care at all about it 🙂

Hyatt, you should be better to treat globalists who paid lots of money on your properties. And being thankful for their loyalty.

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Vail with my family, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. Despite calling two weeks in advance to request an early check-in at 2 PM, our room was not ready upon arrival, and we had to wait until 4 PM due to staff miscommunication. Traveling with young children, this delay was especially challenging.

The residence concierge was unhelpful, often rude, and failed to follow through on multiple requests. When I asked her to book a massage at the spa, she told me to call directly, only for me to discover it was closed for renovations. She also misinformed me about the snowboard rental return process, leading to unnecessary disruptions during my family dinner. Such lack of initiative and incorrect information robbed us of valuable time.

Transportation services were also disappointing. Drivers were slow to respond and would honk upon arrival instead of calling or texting, even in freezing temperatures. Despite tipping generously, service remained lackluster.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the condominium were far below expectations. My requests for cleaning were refused, and the unit had numerous issues, including a broken mesh sliding door, non-functional fireplace, steam bath, leaking sinks, and a jamming front door. These problems were unacceptable for a property of this caliber.

After several frustrating interactions, I resorted to managing my own arrangements, including renting a car, which defeated the purpose of staying at a full-service hotel.

The Grand Hyatt Vail has great potential, but significant improvements are needed in staff training, communication, and responsiveness. Maintenance and cleanliness standards also require urgent attention. I expected a seamless, luxurious stay, but the experience left much to be desired.

Overall, the hotel is nice and an excellent spot for skiing.

We had a horrible experience with the person (Robert) who checked us in, who was rude and condescending. We had to speak to the manager on duty during our visit to provide feedback for that person. Kudos to the manager who was very prompt and helpful.

Our stay dramatically improved the next day after check-in when we talked to other members of the staff. Every person we spoke to (except for the horribly rude check in person) was very polite, helpful, and respectful. We had some room service issues which were quickly resolved by the helpful staff. Even the shuttle drivers were amazingly helpful, cheerful, and nice.

Overall, we loved our stay, and our experience improved a lot after check-in.

This hotel is typically very nice, but I would recommend avoiding it during the holidays. My experience was unusual and disappointing. It seems they’ve hired a lot of new staff who haven’t been properly trained in customer service.

The restaurant staff was disorganized and not particularly friendly. The front desk service was inconsistent, and the new guest services representative I spoke with on the phone was shockingly rude.

It felt like I was watching the hotel’s standards decline, but I suspect this may have been due to the holiday season.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Grand Hyatt this past weekend. Not only was the room comfortable and extremely clean, but the view from our patio was stunning. Every person we interacted with was friendly and warm, and I can’t recommend Rhoda in the spa enough for her knowledge and expertise. Thank you for such a memorable time visiting Vail!
