I am disappointed with my experience at Gallery at the Domain. Two months after moving in, I began to notice a significant German roach problem. After informing the leasing office, I was instructed to do a deep cleaning, which unfortunately did not resolve the issue, and the roaches continued to appear.

Despite multiple visits from pest control, the problem persisted, with roaches even crawling on my dog's food. I had to consistently advocate for a solution, requesting either a proper fix or a transfer to a different unit. After eight months, they finally sent a specialized pest management company, but just two weeks later, I am still seeing roaches.

It has become increasingly frustrating to communicate my concerns, as it feels like they do not prioritize addressing the issue. Overall, I believe the management could significantly improve their responsiveness.

While the initial move-in experience was promising, the ongoing pest problem has made living here quite challenging. I hope this review helps others in their decision.

I love living here! I’ve been here for a year and a half and I continue to absolutely love it. When I first moved here Mario helped me and he was fantastic in my transition here. I’ve worked with Jules who has been super helpful as well. Making service request has been easy and the service workers have been fast and friendly. The gym is great and the pool is even better! I have an amazing view and the location is perfect!

This complex genuinely had potential. That’s the most frustrating thing. Great location (close to the heart of the Domain, but not too close), lots of amenities, full gyms, lots of parking, good layouts. My unit gets amazing light + my plants are thriving. Most neighbors are great+helpful. Maintenance is responsive, despite being understaffed. That’s where the good part stops.

The office will reply “concerned” telling me to call. There is no point in doing so. They rarely answer, take really long to reply to messages, ignore you, or never relay your message. It takes repeated in-person visits to get anything other than basic maintenance done. I’ve lived here for 3 years. Believe me, I tried. Once, I left a review, saying the front office was unresponsive. They left a response saying to call, I called within a few minutes, + they didn’t pick up or return my call!

Gallery will charge you significantly more to renew than it would cost to move to an identical unit. Every year. This year they want to charge me extra for the luxury of continuing to breathe black mold. You often have to go above the office manager to property management to get a logical resolution. Took going to the property manager after 2 years of asking the office to get a working dishwasher. Made the mistake of putting in a maintenance request for black mold in my bedroom last year + they gaslit me saying it wasn’t black mold. Maintenance replaced the vents, bleached, + painted. It worked for a bit, I didn’t know better, but mold came back in multiple places. When I told them this they just sent maintenance back to bleach! I’m certain they tried to cover it up so if I called a professional then there wouldn’t be enough mold. But there was still mold. It is also on some hallways/water fountains/doors on the first floor.

The garages. Parkside is constantly open. Longest we’ve gone with the gate working is 3 weeks. Then it breaks + is open for a few weeks. Edge was broken for months, supposedly because of a missing part. During which cars are vandalized/broken into/stolen. Broken garages lead to more package theft. They said 3 years ago security cameras, garage door fobs, + other improvements would be on the way. More lies. Yes, it’s a busy area, there will be some crime. But neighboring complexes are having next to none of these issues, + the more comparable ones on the other side of the dog park are still having less than us. Gallery would rather raise rates + have constant turnover who don’t know better, than invest in cameras/more security/prosecute people who intentionally break the garages. They eventually added a few security guards to drive around at night, but can only call the cops + can’t be everywhere, so doesn’t deter much.

Then the little things. Resident events with space for 10 residents. Dirty pools. No accountability for dog owners who don’t clean up. Dog poo/pee in the halls, garage stairs, in front of the landing by the trash chute. Someone (pretty sure with physical disabilities) left a note asking for people to please not let their dog pee there because not everyone can just go over it. It was torn down within hours. The peeing continued. They sent maintenance to clean it once instead of holding the owner accountable. Once someone left a sign saying, “yes I let my dog sh!t in the hall, what are you going to do about it?”Refusal to enforce their policies forbidding AirBnBs, furthering the security risk. Absurd trash build-ups. It’s embarrassing to have guests, the garages smell so bad. In one building, hallways smell like trash because chutes are inside. We pay for trash service, but have no valet trash, so not sure where that money is going if not upkeep. Constant mailbox break ins. At night people ride motorcycles up+down the garage for fun, making a bunch of noise. I’ve been blessed with quiet neighbors, but if you’re unlucky & have someone blaring music at all hours, you will get zero help from the office in enforcing their own rules again.

If Stephen King wrote a horror novel about an apartment complex, it would be set in Gallery at the Domain. During the time I lived there:

- Complex was dirty, not maintained, trash all over. Elevator broke more times than I could count.
- Constant car break-ins, stolen packages, mailroom break-ins. The cops responded to a lot of calls.
- Poor noise insulation. I heard cars zoom down the street like they were racing in my apartment.
- Frequent management changes. Staff was slow to respond to emails. Their main response was there was nothing they could do.

The staff sent out emails asking residents for high Google reviews in exchange for parties. You'll see batches of 5-star reviews for a reason.

Did I mention my rent went up over $300 when I lived here? If you want "luxury" living, go elsewhere.

I’m incredibly frustrated with the Gallery at the Domain. Despite charging exorbitant fees for amenities and safety, management does absolutely nothing to maintain them.

The pool is absolutely filthy, and there's a terrible garbage smell in the corridors. All they do is raise the rent. Management parrots the same robotic apologies without ever taking real action to address these issues. It's obvious that they only care about their profits. If there were an option for ZERO stars, I would have given them ZERO.

“I recently moved into the gallery at domain, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The moving process was smooth, and the staff was incredibly helpful and professional. The gallery here is a great touch, adding dog park, fitness center and pool is a vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality living experience!

I love living here! The apartment has everything I need, gyms, lounges and the pools. The community events are fantastic, making it easy to connect with neighbors. Highly recommend!
