I have to agree with the other recent reviews saying that Brixly have gone from being excellent to awful. It's a real shame. It feels like they just don't care now and if you need support then you're going to struggle to get a response, I'm not sure if they actually have anyone on support outside of the working week. The lack of replies to recent reviews is telling. Sad to say it, but avoid what was until recently a great company.

Few years ago this was one of most reliable and trustworthy company.
Now isn't none of this. Premium support (£100/month premium service) takes 1!!! DAY to answer support message and answer is Did you try restart your router. It takes 3 days to get answer from trained and professional support person, who told "we had some problems". Three days unfunctional service. I cancelled their hosting last Monday, still not cancelled, still not returned payment, today I got an answer if I can cancel ASAP or at the end of billing period.
Robbery in a white day, if you want to stay out of troubles, walk away from BRIXLY as far as you can.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSTER. THEY DON'T KEEP APPOINTMENTS AND DON'T DELIVER WHAT THEY ONCE DID.

Became a customer of Brixly in 2021 and everything was fine. Great spam filter, great outgoing spam filter, fast hosting and excellent support. And then they were acquired...

After the acquisition, things deteriorated hard, very hard as we often see with acquisitions. Two of the biggest pluses were removed immediately (SpamExperts and MailChannels) and what remained was all misery with spam in your mail and your own email not arriving.

Support also deteriorated very badly. The once great support has all gone to the 2nd tier and what is left are incompetent co-workers who say nothing is wrong (until it gets to line 2 and something is wrong anyway). Support times have gone from 20 minutes to 8+ hours.

2x major outages in a week, created a ticket with status Urgent and after 8 a response saying nothing was wrong, indicated they needed to look at it again and after another few hours it got to line 2 and they did see something was wrong.

Indicated I want to terminate my contract and face a credit for the remaining months, after all they have breached contract by removing two services. At first this was not possible but after pointing out to them a reaction; After consultation with “higher management” I was going to get a credit for the remaining period (€ 400,- +). And then a message from higher management in which it came down to the fact that I could whistle for my money and they came with a “compensation” of 12 months hosting. Worthless because I do not want to stay with this party any longer.

Small examples showing that Brixly is no longer the party they once were and also afraid of feedback/questions;
- After takeover not being able to respond to blog posts or to their roadmap / feature requests.
- No longer able to give a status to tickets themselves
- Support times from 20 minutes to 8+ hours
- Migrations have been postponed twice and moved by 1.5 months
- Promises (black on white) that are not kept
- Always paid via Creditcard/PayPal and now suddenly I would have paid via credit on my account (which means they don't do a chargeback anyway).

I have since moved everything away from Brixly, do yourself a favor and choose another hoster!

Was always happy with Brixly until they were acquired by Enix, since then customer support times have increased to 2hrs +, and the quality of support has gone down hill.

A real shame as Dennis and the team previously were very helpful and knowledgable.

Will be moving providers ASAP.

Once a standout company, Brixly’s service quality declined following its 2024 acquisition. The new owners appear more profit-driven than customer-centric. They’ve stripped away the very elements that once set them apart. Sadly, Brixly now resembles just another run-of-the-mill hosting provider. My recommendation? Toss a rock into the nearest tree and find a provider that strikes a better balance between service and profit.

I have been with Brixly since 2019. They were a 5* service all round. However, the recent acquisition by Enix ltd has destroyed the trust and reputation which Dennis and his team had built up.

Lack of communication about HUGE changes has caused nothing but issues for the past 3 weeks. They gave no pre-warning about the removal of MailChannels/Spam experts and meant all my customers were left with an unusable email system which their business' rely on. It's embarrassing and disappointing.

I'm now seeking alternatives to Brixly. And certainly will not be using Enix Ltd (they suggested I migrate all my customers to Enix in a ticket as a solution...). Pathetic.

I second the previous review. Was once a great hosting company but has suddenly gone down hill over night. Support tickets used to be answered quickly by someone who know what they were doing. Now its hours or days later with copy and paste replies. Hopefully they sort things quickly or its time to find a new provider. Sad

Used to be a great webhost. Totally fallen off now. They have regular long outages and don't really respond to support tickets, unless it's just to tell you to wait. Such a shame but that's how it goes. Just avoid.
